Junior High Construction Update
At Thomas Ewing, kitchen equipment is being installed, final coat of paint is being applied in the single story classroom section, and lights are being installed in the locker room. Classroom floor tiles, ceramic restroom tiles and elevator installation are underway in the two story classroom section. Throughout the building, sinks are being connected, pipes labeled, chilled beam unit installed, and technology racks installed. On the site, the track has been graded, topsoil is being re-spread, and rear sidewalk installed.
At General Sherman, windows are being installed in the single story classroom section of the building and domestic water lines in the main entrance section. In the gymnasium section, duct work, HVAC water lines, and sprinkler lines are being installed. In the two story classroom section, brick is being installed on the outside and water pipes are being insulated on the inside. On the site, the football field and track are being graded and underground electric feeder and data lines are being installed.
