2023 BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN
Let’s make a difference…join the movement!
The Women’s Enrichment Center is a pregnancy center like no other!
The WEC assist young women from the time they are pregnant until their child is two years of age. We offer prenatal and pregnancy classes, and a workforce initiative program.
Earlier this year, I shared with you Ava’s story of escaping an abusive home situation. If you recall, I opened my home to her and her child and shortly after, a donor of the WEC/Lotus provided her a place to live where she pays rent. Since then, we’ve had other situations that are similar to Ava’s. So, the WEC is asking all supporters to help us raise money through taking a baby bottle, filling it up with coins, cash or checks and the funds will enable us to build tiny homes providing a woman and her child a place to live. If a young lady lives in a tiny home, she will participate in our programs and is required to work a full time job. They will have to work with a financial counselor and save money so they can eventually move out and be able to take care of their child. We call this transitional housing!
We’ve had an anonymous donor step forward and for every person who fills a baby bottle with coin, cash or a check, their name will be placed in a drawing to win a weekend for two at the Biltmore Hotel and two tickets to Christmas at Biltmore. So if you have already filled a baby bottle this year your name is in the drawing; but don’t stop there. Grab another baby bottle, fill it up, turn it back in and your name will go into the drawing again!
Join the Baby Bottle movement, let’s make a difference in those who need our help! You can pick up your baby bottle at the WEC, 720 South Main Street, Lancaster, SC on Tuesday or Wednesday or at Lotus Boutique,
311A North Main Street, Lancaster, SC 29720 from Monday—Friday.
The Baby Bottle challenge for the Biltmore weekend ends November 1, 2023 and the drawing will be held live on social media Friday, November 3, 2023!
Thank you to all the churches, businesses and individuals who have and are already participating. We appreciate you!
