LANCE'S SECOND MEMORIAL SHOW NEXT YEAR WILL BE ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY THE 19TH AT MANATEE TECHNICAL COLLEGE 6305 State Road 70 Bradenton, FL 34203
This past Wednesday we were at Ed's Tavern in Lakewood Ranch. It was so nice to be back there again. It was a beautiful evening and it was filled with a lot of gorgeous cars! There were over 60 on the lot and we had 35 sign ins. Next month we should be starting to see a few of our snow birds coming down.
Saturday we were at Ideal Classic Cars in Venice. We played music until about 10:30am and decided to shut it down, due to there only being 12 to 15 cars. Venice and south of Venice was hit pretty hard from the Hurricane and it was nice seeing the guys that we did, but worried about the ones that we didn't.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
This Saturday the 15th we were supposed to be at Sarasota Classic Car Museum from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Martin Godby called to CANCEL FOR THIS SATURDAY ONLY DUE TO DAMAGE FROM HURRICANE IAN!
Sarasota evening we will be at Joey Ds in Venice from 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Remember, all who register receive a 10% discount inside. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Sunday the 16th will be our first Sunday at Hunsader Farms. I spoke with the owner and he said that they were not affected at all by the Hurricane. Come in through the entrance closest to SR70. Tell them that you are with the Car Show and they will send you through the actual gate into the festival. We are parked between the bathrooms and the food vendors. There are many things to do at the Farm and it is free of charge. It is however $10.00 for the car show if you are not a member.
Our new schedule of shows are listed for the beginning of the Fall below.
Ed's Tavern in Lakewood Ranch will be starting the first week of October.
We have Hunsader Farms listed for the last three Sundays of October. We love this one! The car show is actually part of Hunsader Festival itself. There are two entrances for the Farm. We use the entrance closest to SR70. Once you tell them that you are with the car show they will tell you to take a different route. You will not need to pay a parking fee nor an entrance fee due to being in the festival itself. You will drive towards the back and take a right. It will take you into the festival and we are next to the Food Vendors and the bathrooms! Perfect spot!
Normally, it is $10.00 each person, but we get in Free of charge. We have a great time!

THIS WEEK I JUST WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I AM PRAYING THAT ALL OF MY CRUZIN FRIENDS ARE SAFE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN A HURRICANE OF THIS SIZE AND IT REALLY HIT ME HARD WHEN THERE WERE ONLY 15 CARS AT IDEAL. I HAVE BEEN WORRIED SINCE. IS EVERYONE ALRIGHT? THE LORD WAS LOOKING AFTER MY ENTIRE FAMILY, AND FOR THAT I AM VERY GREATFUL.
IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO HELP ANY OF YOU, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
THE ONLY DAMAGE THAT MY HOUSE RECEIVED WAS A FLYING OBJECT WENT THROUGH ONE OF MY WINDOWS, AND THE FENCE IS DOWN. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO WILL REPLACE ONLY ONE WINDOW? LOVE YOU ALL, GAYE MORE LATER...
I have been getting a lot of questions regarding Lance's life. People are wanting to know where he was born and where he grew up. They are also wanting to know how we met and how he started doing these car shows. I am going to answer all of those questions right here.
I am going to be writing a little biography on Lance's life and legacy. I am going to share all sorts of stories/memories that will continue each week. I am going to upload photos, etc.

FYI : In the event of bad weather on car show days I will send an Email blast and a Facebook post by 3:00pm if there is going to be a cancellation. If you do not hear from me the "Show will go on!" I am now the sole owner of "Cruzin To The Hop" car shows and if you want to stay in the "Know" here it from me.

We have come up with an idea to try. It came up in conversation that it would be nice to have a "FOR SALE" section in the email and a "LOOKING FOR" section. We could start with the cost being $20.00 minimum for running on four email blasts. ($5.00 each email.)
