Make-up Testing TOMORROW

Friday, June 4

If you are a 7th or 8th Grade MSO student and you need to make-up an FSA or EOC test, please report to school at 9:15 AM on Friday, June 4, 2021.

Please make sure you are in uniform and have your school ID.

Return of

School-Issued Devices

All school-issued laptops and tablets must be returned to school. Any devices not being used should be returned to school immediately. Students in Grades 6-7 who have school issued devices must return them no later than Monday, June 7th. In person students will be called down during school hours and MSO students can bring devices in during the school day or at the drive by drop-off from 3 to 5 pm.

Awards Night

Monday June 7

On Monday, June 7, 2021 at 6:00 pm we will be having our drive-through awards night celebration.

Those 6, 7, and 8th grade students being honored received their invitations Wednesday.

MSO students received their invitation via email and in-person students received them in class. We hope to see you there!

8th Grade Drive-Thru Celebration

Next Tuesday, June 8^th, Palmetto Middle School will have a Drive Through Celebration for our 8^th Graders’ successful completion of their middle school education.

This event will be held from 6 to 7:30, and will require parents to drive their 8^th grader into the teacher’s parking lot to receive a gift, their yard sign (if purchased from the school store), and a Kona Ice.

There will be a festive atmosphere as we see our 8^th graders off to their high school years.

If your child has not returned a school issued tablet or laptop, it can be returned that afternoon from 3-5 pm, but no later than at this event.

Yearbooks are HERE!

There are just over 100 books left for sale.

Online sales will continue through TONIGHT, Thursday JUNE 3. Go to OSP in your Parent Portal to purchase online.

Distribution and in-person sales will begin this Friday June 4th. Any student that owes money to the school will have to pay monies owed prior to picking up their yearbook.

Pick-up will take place in front of Mrs. Diaz's office when the announcement is made on Friday. Sales will continue until we sell out.

Extra copies cannot be ordered after we have sold out, so ORDER YOUR YEARBOOK TODAY!

Visit PMS School Store to pre-order PMS masks and spirit wear. We have girls' and boys' spirit wear shirts, masks and hoodies. Adult Small and Adult Medium hoodies back in stock this week!

School Uniform Policy

School polos or spirit wear shirts can be worn by students for in-person school. For distance learning no uniforms need to be worn. If you have a shirt or polo, you are encouraged to wear it but it is not mandatory. School ID's are mandatory. Rules of appropriate clothing still apply. Items not permitted: Caps, hats or hoods and clothing with rips or holes. Upon the return to school we will follow our normal uniform policy which can be found HERE.

**NEW** 2020-21 Spirit Wear shirts have been approved to be worn everyday for this school year only.
