Personalized Pathways at La Follette
Just like everyone else, our Pathway teams are looking forward to the start of 2021! During December, students in our Information Technology and Communication (ITC) and Health Services Pathways have had an extra layer of support with future planning. Our teams are helping students think about taking advanced courses and earn college credit while still in high school. Especially when students find opportunities connected to their personal interests, these experiences can be powerful! Expanded access to virtual job-shadowing is also helping pathway students explore possibilities.

Anticipation of the new year also means planning for the next school year, so December has been full of Zoom conversations with 8th grade students and families. La Follette is inviting 8th graders interested in ITC or Health Services to sign up for a Pathway at mmsd.org/pathways by January 15, 2021.

Check out this new video for more on why we’re excited about Pathways!
