Hello Lancers,
MSCR is offering several FREE programs this summer for high school students, some are in-person outdoors, and others will meet virtually on Zoom. These programs are open to any current La Follette students, as well as incoming 9th grade students.
Read It & See It will offer a five-week virtual session this summer starting on June 17. The group will read Shadow and Bone and watch the Netflix series. Zoom meetings will be Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 pm. Register here!
Climate Justice Book Club will also offer a virtual summer session starting June 25. Zoom meetings will be on Fridays from 2:30-3:30 pm. Students will read and discuss literature related to the fight for climate justice. Sign up here!
MSCR is also offering eight summer programs open to all MMSD high school students, including incoming 9th graders. Anime Club will meet virtually, and the rest will meet in-person, outdoors: 3-on-3 basketball, community service, gardening, Outdoor Adventure Club, soccer league, Soulful Productions Academy, and United Asian Club.
