La Follette MSCR Updates
Hello Lancers,

MSCR is offering a variety of virtual programs this fall, along with a limited number of in-person programs that will happen away from the La Follette campus and follow strict health precautions. Please read below a description of these programs. In addition, MSCR is offering a variety of virtual and in-person programs to the entire Madison community. Please visit or follow MSCR on social media for more information.

MSCR will be offering virtual academic tutoring by appointment using Zoom. Tutors and LHS teachers will be available by appointment during some “student support hours” and during after school hours.

Read It & See It Club will meet weekly via Zoom. Each quarter the club reads a book (provided by MSCR) and watches the movie version. Start date and meeting times are TBD.

MSCR Outdoor Adventure Club will be offering several short day trips throughout September and October, including hiking, kayaking and climbing at the high ropes course. Trips are free but students must have transportation. Students may sign up for any or all of these outings. Space is limited and will be filled first come, first served. A complete schedule and registration link will be emailed to all MMSD high school students in early September.

Other virtual programs/clubs will be added throughout the semester. Stay tuned for more information!

MSCR Fitness is offering in-person classes specifically for teenagers, including running club, weight training, and yoga & mindfulness. Click here for more information on MSCR youth fitness programs this fall.

If any Lancer students or families would like more information about any of these programs, please contact me. MSCR wants to support Lancer students and families in whatever way we can during virtual school. If you have suggestions or requests for services or programs, please contact me!

With respect,
