Welcome & Welcome Back,

Palmetto Middle Families!!!

We hope you all had an AMAZING summer and are excited for the upcoming school year!!!

We are so excited to meet our new students and their families and to catch up with returning ones as well.

As we gear up for school, we invite you to our

2025-2026 Parent Orientation & Campus Preview on Monday, August 11th.

All families are welcome at 10 a.m., to walk through our building and find your classes using the schedules available on the portal. This is a wonderful opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the school, making the first day exciting and easing any anxieties.

New families are invited to stay for an Orientation Program beginning at 11 a.m. in the Auditorium.

The School Store will also be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., to pick up any online pre-orders and purchase any last minute uniform polos, required PE Uniforms, and spirit wear, as supplies last.

Note: If you have an 8th grader, we hope you will consider joining at the PTSA Legacy Membership Class of 2026 Level. See below to learn all of the perks it includes for your 8th graders final year at PMS.

Every Friday your child can roll into school in their official Palmetto PJ Pants. No other pjs will be allowed.

Volunteer and Get Involved

If you'd like to be more involved at our school this year, join our Palmetto Middle PTSA volunteer bank! Once you are cleared by M-DCPS to volunteer, we'd love to have you on campus working with us.

Complete the clearance form for Miami-Dade Schools linked below. It's easy and MUST BE COMPLETED EACH YEAR BY ALL PARENTS.
