A message from Principal Valero

Dear parents and students,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Palmetto Middle School! I am thrilled to have each one of you as a part of our extraordinary community, where our theme this school year is "Super Lancers Love, Learn, and Lead." I am looking forward to meeting and engaging with our school community.

As we embark on this new journey together, I want our students and families to experience the abundance of wonderful academic programs and after-school opportunities that await you. From our caring and dedicated staff to our comprehensive educational program, sports, and clubs, we are committed to providing an enriching and supportive environment for all students and families. Together, let's embrace the spirit of Super Lancers, where passion for learning thrives, friendships flourish, and leadership skills blossom.

NOTE: Phones/Electronic Devices Are No Longer Allowed On Campus

For the safety, academic focus, and social development of our students, 

Palmetto Middle School has a new ELECTRONIC DEVICE POLICY:

 

Smartwatches, smart phones, and earbuds are not allowed on campus.  

If a student is seen with a device, he/she will be asked to turn it into the office where their guardian may pick it up at the end of the day. Thank you.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE SURE DROPOFF AND PICKUP ARE SMOOTH AND SAFE

Please check out the arrival and dismissal procedures below. You will notice additional security guards will be helping out this year, but we also rely on you all to help ensure students are safe and that we are respectful of the neighborhood around us.
