Saint Paul, Minn. - Everyone's favorite Dog Show is BACK and better than ever! More than 1,200 canines in 197 breeds will compete for American Kennel Club (AKC) awards when Land O'Lakes Kennel Club presents its annual Dog Show at Saint Paul RiverCentre Friday-Sunday, January 2-4, 2026.
Imagine dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages gathered under the same roof for three days! You can experience all the furry cuteness, impressive agility and loveable spirits here at this show. Fun elements of the event include:
American Kennel Club (AKC) "Puppy Party"
If you have a puppy ages 4-6 months old, you are invited to enter a fun, interactive mock dog show geared strictly for young pups. Think of it as a practice run for when your dog is older and ready to compete! Puppies must be pre-registered to participate.
Meet The Breeds
Here is a place where you can talk with experts on a variety of dog breeds and see the dogs up close and personal. If you're interested in getting a dog of a specific breed or are just curious about the nearly 200 breeds at the show, this is the place to be. Meet The Breeds will be on Saturday and Sunday with a full schedule at landolakeskennelclub.org as the show weekend nears.
Handling Clinic
On Saturday afternoon, this is a great opportunity for owners to get some pointers and instruction from professional handlers on how to better present their dogs.

Several non-profit organizations and individuals will hold presentations covering a diverse range of topics including Assistance, Detection, Guide and Therapeutic Dogs. Organizations include:

Midwest Regional Junior Showmanship Competition
On Saturday, the future of the dog world will compete in a junior handling competition which recognizes young handlers from the entire Midwest area.
