Lane Closure - 1-10 Eastbound Left & Right Lanes

(Exit 27 – Exit 29) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced two separate single lane closures along I-10 Eastbound left and right lanes from Exit 27, Sampson Street, ending at Exit 29, North Lakeshore Drive. The closures are scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, to 5 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026. The left lane will be closed first. Once complete, the right lane will be closed and left lane will open.  

Work will be weather permitting. 

This is necessary for crews to survey roadway east of the Calcasieu River Bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
