Lane Closure: Eastbound I-10

(Exit 29 - Bilbo Street Overpass) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced lane closures of Eastbound I-10 from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. beginning June 30, 2026, through July 1, 2026. Closure will begin with the Left Lane closure and then transition into a Right Lane closure. Closure will begin near Mile Marker 30 and extend to the Bilbo Street Overpass. During this closure the Lakeshore Drive entrance ramp to Eastbound I-10 will be closed.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for crews to conduct coring along main lane I-10.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
