Lane Closure: Eastbound I10 Auxiliary Lane

(Exit 29) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an auxiliary lane closure of Eastbound I-10 from 8 PM – 5 AM beginning June 17, 2026, through June 19, 2026. Closure will begin before the auxiliary lane to Exit 29, Lakeshore Drive, immediately after the Calcasieu River Bridge. Exit 29, Lakeshore Drive, will be open during this time.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for crews to conduct maintenance of roadway lighting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
