Lane closure: North Lakeshore Drive 

(Lakeshore Drive) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a left lane closure along North Lakeshore Drive between the Westbound I-10 entrance ramp and the Eastbound I-10 North Lakeshore Drive Exit Ramp, Exit 29, daily from 8 AM – 5 PM beginning Monday, April 27, 2026 through May 22, 2026. 

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for boring along the median around North Lakeshore Drive.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
