Lane Closure: Eastbound I-10 Right Lane

(Mile Marker 24 - Mile Marker 27) - Calcasieu Parish 

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced nightly lane closures along Eastbound I-10 beginning near Exit 25, I-210 Interchange via Eastbound I-10, and ending at the Sampson Street entrance ramp to Eastbound I-10. Closures will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, beginning Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, and ending Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026.

All ramps will be open during operations

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for mill and overlay of outside shoulders along Eastbound I-10 in multiple locations.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
