Lane Closure: Eastbound I-10

(Mile Marker 25 – U.S-90 Overpass) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a left lane closure of Eastbound I-10 nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, July 29, 2026, ending the morning of Friday July 31, 2026. The closure will begin near the Eastbound I-10 entrance ramp via I-210 and end at the U.S-90 overpass.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for crews to install temporary barrier rail along the inside shoulder.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
