Lane Closure: I-10 Eastbound Left & Right Lane

Exit 27 - Exit 29 - Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced two separate singular lane closures from 6:00 a.m. through 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7, along I-10 Eastbound inside and outside lane from Exit 27, Sampson Street, ending at Exit 29, North Lakeshore Drive. The left lane will be closed first. Once complete, the right lane will be closed and the left lane will open.  

Work will be weather permitting. 

This is necessary for crews to repair roadway at the East end approach of the Calcasieu River Bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
