Lane Closure - I-10 Eastbound 

(PPG Drive Entrance Ramp to Eastbound I-10 – Exit 27) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced varying nighttime lane closures of I-10 Eastbound beginning at the PPG Drive entrance ramp to Eastbound I-10, and ending at Exit 27, Sampson Street. Work will be scheduled nightly from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning the night of Friday, Sept. 11, through the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. The first closure will be the Eastbound Right lanes. Once finished the closure will move to the left lane of Eastbound I-10. 

Work Will be conducted weather permitting. 

The U.S-90 Entrance Ramp to Eastbound I-10 will be closed during this time.  

If work is conducted Sunday or Monday night closure times will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.  

The closure is necessary for repairs of I-10 Eastbound roadway. . 

Detour Route to I-10 EB Via U.S-90: Continue along U.S-90 to the Eastbound Entrance Ramp.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
