Ramp closure: PPG Entrance Ramp To I-10 East

 (PPG Entrance Ramp) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a nightly closure of the PPG Drive Entrance Ramp to Eastbound I-10. This closure will begin Thursday October 8, 2026, and end Friday, November 20, 2026. PPG Drive entrance ramp will be opened at the end of each shift. Detour route will be in place. 

Work Will be conducted weather permitting.

Closure Times

• Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. through 5:00 a.m.
• Friday, 9:00 p.m. through 10:00 a.m.
• Saturday, 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 a.m.

The closure is necessary for temporary widening of the ramp and temporary barrier rail installation.

Detour Route

To Eastbound I-10: Continue along PPG Drive to U.S-90. Turn right at the intersection and continue along U.S-90 to the entrance ramp to Eastbound I-10.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
