Lane Closure: I-10 Westbound

(Mile Marker 26 – Mile Marker 25) - Calcasieu Parish 

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a left lane closure from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026 and ending Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026. Closure will begin in the left lane at Exit 26, U.S-90, and end at Exit 25, I-210.

Closures will be Sunday evening to Friday morning and then again on Sunday the 16th.

Work will be conducted weather permitting

The closure is necessary for the removal of high-tension cable barriers and saw cutting shoulder for roadway widenings.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
