Lane Closure: Left Lane I-10

between Enterprise Blvd. and Ryan St.

I-10 Westbound - Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an emergency double left lane closure on I-10 Westbound beginning at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, through 3 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, between Enterprise and Ryan Street exit ramp #30B.  

All main-lane traffic will need to take the Ryan Street exit ramp and continue on the service road through the Lakeshore Drive merge. Northbound Veterans Memorial Drive will be closed to create a protected lane for main lane traffic. Drivers will be able to re-enter the westbound main lanes at the westbound Veterans Memorial Entrance Ramp. 

Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic at the Veterans Memorial Drive and Ryan Street intersection. 

This closure is necessary to install a barrier and for a damaged guardrail over the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
