Lane Closure: US 90 Right Shoulder

(U.S-90 Right Shoulder at Exit 26) - Calcasieu Parish 

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces right shoulder closures along U.S-90 after the Exit 26 ramp from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, through the morning of Friday, August 7, 2026.  

Work will be conducted weather permitting. 

The closure is necessary for crews to duct bank operations.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
