Lane Closures: EB, WB and Surrounding Service Roads

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces multiple singular shoulder closures from Sept. 10, 2025, through Oct. 10, 2025. Work will be conducted from the shoulders with no impairment to traffic.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

These closures are necessary preconstruction activities (survey, soil borings), maintenance inspections and repairs for bridges, guardrail, lighting, and drainage structures, moving operations, debris/litter removal, and mowing.

Safety reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
