CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces outside lane, shoulder, auxiliary lane closure along I-10 Eastbound. The roadway on I-10 Eastbound will be tapered to allow entrance to open lanes on I-10 Eastbound. These lane and shoulder closures will start at the gore of Exit 25, I-10 exit ramp on to I-210, and ends five-hundred feet before PPG Drive Exit, Exit 26, on I-10 Eastbound. The I-210 ramp entering on to I-10 Eastbound will be a full road closure. This will take place at night Tuesday, March 25, 2025, to Wednesday morning, March 26, 2025, from 8 P.M. - 5 A.M.
The following areas with lane and shoulder closures:
- I-10 Eastbound: at the gore of Exit 25, I-10 exit ramp on to I-210, and ends five-hundred feet before PPG Drive Exit, Exit 26.
- The following areas with road closures
- I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp from I-210 and auxiliary lane ending five-hundred feet before PPG Drive exit, Exit 26.
Detour Roads for the above closure:
- For I-210: Continue along I-210 to the I-10 Westbound on-ramp. Take I-10 Westbound to the La-108 Exit, Exit 23. Merge on to La-108 Southbound then take the next exit, Lake Charles, to merge on to I-10 Eastbound.
These closures are necessary to conduct roadway repairs to lane and shoulders to provide motorists with a safe travel lane free of hazards.
