Lane closure: 1-10 Eastbound Left & Right Lane 

(Exit 27 – Exit 29) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced two separate singular lane closures along I-10 Eastbound left & right lane from Exit 27, LA 378 (Sampson Street), ending at Exit 29, North Lakeshore Drive. The closures will be from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026.  Left lane will be closed first. Once complete, right lane will then be closed.  

Work will be weather permitting. 

This is necessary for crews to make repairs to roadway East of the Calcasieu River Bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
