UPDATE - Lane closure: Westbound I-10 Right Lane

(North Lakeshore Drive Entrance Ramp) - Calcasieu Parish

CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has canceled its previously announced right lane closure of Westbound I-10 from before the North Lakeshore Drive I-10 Westbound Entrance Ramp ending before the Calcasieu River Bridge nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, through Thursday, July 9, 2026.

The closure, which is necessary for crews to conduct maintenance of roadway lighting, will be rescheduled.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
