Increasing Employment Land Supply: Open House for 'Fraser Highway Employment Lands Plan'

An Open House is planned for January 30 to seek feedback on the Township of Langley's plan for new employment lands along Fraser Highway. The Langley Chamber strongly supports the Township's efforts to bring new employment/industrial land into use, and encourages members to share their support as well as this is critical to our economic growth. The Langley Chamber knows US tariffs are one of the most urgent threats facing business today. We are working through our Canadian Chamber network to express this urgency, with the Canadian Chamber meeting US officials in Washington this week.

Data for Business: December Inflation Shows Price Increases Slowed in 2024

Canada’s headline inflation decelerated to 1.8% in December on a year-over-year basis. Annually, prices increased in 2024 by 2.4%, down from 3.9% in 2023.

In BC, inflation was 2.6% over December 2023, putting it at the highest rate in the country for this month. Read more >
