NOW IN THE ONLINE STORE: RAT SNAKE!
Play a game from the world of Lankhmar!
But the Mouser had made his throw, and the odd dice of Lankhmar had stopped with the matching symbols of the eel and the serpent uppermost, and he was raking in triangular golden coins.
—“The Bleak Shore” by Fritz Leiber
You might have heard about our recent  DCC Lankhmar  release. It’s a wonderfully in-depth take on the classic novels by Fritz Lieber, and licensed by his estate.

If you are a fan of those novels, you might have heard of something called Rat-Snake . In the back alleys of the city of Lankhmar, money is won and lost, and lives are sometimes wagered as the ultimate prize, all on the roll of the dice. All part of a game called Rat-Snake .

Here at Goodman Games, we didn’t want to just publish a map and rules, we wanted to bring Lankhmar to life. And we’ve got the dice to prove it. We’ve got  Rat-Snake , the game itself, in our online store!

Distilled from the novels and stories, we’ve created a Rat-Snake dice game that we feel would make Fritz proud. Rat-Snake is a gambling game that requires two six-sided dice to play. Serious Rat-Snake players use specialized dice inscribed with the image of a rat on the one-pip face and a snake on the six-pip face. Our version is a tube containing eight such dice and a rules booklet for Rat-Snake .
And while we're talking about dice....

Be sure to  check out all the dice  that we have in stock right now! We’ve got a great selection of various dice for you to choose from. Just check a few of them out below!
Available in multiple colors.

THE LEOPARD WOMEN OF VENUS ARE CALLING ALL DCC FANS!
A weird and wonderful sci-fi setting for DCC RPG !
19 DAYS TO GO!
You may not have ever heard the name Fletcher Hanks before. That’s because he was a Golden Age comic artist who never saw great success. Many years later, however, his legacy was discovered…such as it is. And the folks at JLHB Polytechnic are bringing him to you in the form of  The Leopard Women of Venus .

The Leopard Women of Venus  is a new third-party Kickstarter for use with  Dungeon Crawl Classics , creating a wild vision of a science-fiction world unlike anything else.

Inspired by a Fletcher Hanks story starring Space Smith,  The Leopard Women of Venus  answers many questions, such as “Why are there Leopard Women on Venus?” and “Who else lives on Venus?” It’s the exact type of weird and wonderful world that fits in perfectly with  DCC RPG .

Here’s what the Kickstarter tells you to expect:
Leopard Women of Venus  is heavily inspired by pulp fiction and foundational fantasy authors like Edgar Rice Burroughs; committed to instilling a mixture of awe, wonder, and horror; and extremely dangerous for player characters.

Inside the book you’ll find:
  • The Leopard Woman class and their powerful augments
  • Clear guidelines for how DCC character classes function on Venus
  • Two patrons, Stardust the Super-Wizard and Fantomah, complete with spells
  • A list of 100 Venusian occupations useful for creating 0-level characters
  • A 0-level funnel, “Saucerful of Secrets”
  • A 1st-level adventure, “The Mines of the Moglugs”
  • Fantastical sci-fi gear and equipment
  • Random tables to generate countless springboards for adventure
  • The Magnificent Moglug Maker
  • And much more!

Joshua LH Burnett and the folks at JLHB Polytechnic are no strangers to  DCC RPG . They’ve already produced the popular  Crepuscular  zine, which features the amazingly-wacky  Sanctum of the Snail  adventure, so you know exactly the quality they can produce.
EXPERIENCE THE HOUSE OF RED DOORS!
A one-on-one adventure for DCC RPG !
24 DAYS TO GO!
Another third-party DCC Kickstarter has appeared as well! Psychoda Press and James A. Pozenel, Jr are bringing you  The House of the Red Doors .

Described as a more intimate adventure,  The House of the Red Doors  is is a funnel that can be used for tournament play or it can level up a peasant for campaign play. It is one player adventure that requires a Judge.

That’s right, this is a one-on-one adventure. One Judge, one player. The adventure involves a lot of puzzle-solving and can be played in less than half an hour. It’s a different beast for  DCC RPG !

Head on over to  The House of the Red Doors   DCC Kickstarter to find out more!

On July 23, 2017, Michael Curtis and Brendan LaSalle took a trip to Providence, RI – the birthplace of horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, author of “The Call of Cthulhu” and many other well-known tales. What follows is the only surviving record of their expedition...
