A Dialogue About Gender Equity & Intersectionality

The October Diversity, Equity and Inclusion series featured an engaging discussion with Lori Simon and Tedi R. Parsons about gender equity and intersectionality.

A great discussion was held about how organizations and businesses can use data to identify gaps to strengthen DEI outcomes and help create an inclusive work environment for people of all backgrounds and experiences.

Key discussion highlights include:

Equity ensures that everyone has equal access to opportunities.
Setting a standard or core value can create a safe environment for everyone.
Being a courageous leader means showing grace when having an open conversation.
Bringing solutions and driving change can help people to be seen and heard.

We are excited to share the launch of the Business Resource Navigator and the Talent Resource Navigator on the LRCC website! The LRCC team has created these two pages as resource hubs for our members to easily find and navigate through a wealth of information. The LRCC will keep these pages living with time-sensitive information as well to keep our members up to date on current information, grant/funding opportunities, events, professional growth opportunities, and much more.
