At White House Conference
Hunterdon County Freeholder Sue Soloway attended a presentation by U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross on the Administration’s economic growth strategies, while representing the County at the White House’s Northeast States Leadership Day conference, on July 16, in Washington D.C.

The State Leadership Days, organized by President Donald Trump’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, are designed for county and municipal officials to attend briefings and discussions with senior U.S. government officials on shared federal, state, and local priorities.

Hunterdon Veterans To Be Honored 
At 4-H Fair August 21st
The Hunterdon County Veterans’ Recognition Medal will be awarded to over fifty County Veterans, at the Hunterdon County 2019 4-H Fair Opening Ceremonies, on Wednesday August 21, at 4 pm, at the Roger K. Everitt Fairgrounds, South County Park, in Ringoes. The ceremony is open to the public.

Past Veterans’ medal recipients and all other County Veterans are invited to attend the ceremony to join in the salute the 2019 recipients. Special parking for Veterans is available by contacting Ruthi Cass by phone at 908-788-1104 or by email veterans@co.hunterdon.nj.us . Refreshments will be served after the ceremonies.

Congressman Lance Recognized
As North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library Celebrates
20 th Anniversary
Former Congressman Leonard Lance was recognized for his support and advocacy for libraries throughout his years of public service by the American Library Association, as the North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library celebrated its 20 th anniversary at its current Clinton location, on Saturday, July  20 th .

Hunterdon County Freeholder Board Director Suzanne Lagay and Freeholders Susan J. Soloway and Shaun C. Van Doren joined Congressman Lance in the celebration, which also recognized the 40 th year of the County Library Branch being available to the public in Clinton.
