Out of our Christmas litter we still have all five of the registered Large Black Boar Piglets for sale, which means the pick of the litter is available. (the 5 gilts have been bought) We also have one 4-month old Tamworth Breed Boar for sale. He is at 140 lbs and will make an excellent sire. (pictured below) If you are looking for a proven boar that is ready to go to work now, our 1-year-old Large Black X Tamworth Cross Boar is for sale. (see details below)
Looking ahead, we have two litters of registered Large Blacks due in April, as well as three litters of 50/50 Large Black X Tamworth crossbred pigs. (this is my favorite pig for pastured pork production) We are taking reservations now for the April litters with first picks of the piglets in the order that we receive deposits. ($100 each)

| Registered Large Black Boar Piglets - 4 Weeks Old |
The Dam and Sire of these piglets are pictured on left. Dam is Prudence/Majestic and the Sire is Noble Sam/Matilda. These piglets are excellent breedstock quality with only 11% inbreeding coefficient. Farrow date December 24, 2010. Piglets will be ready to pick up February 11th and 12th.  Cost: $375 Each, includes registration papers and organic certification.I require a $100 deposit per piglet. First picks of the litter are in the order I receive your deposit. Purebred Tamworth Boar - 4 Months Old |
We have 1 purebred Tamworth Breedstock Quality Boar for sale. He came out of a September litter of 15 healthy piglets!
The dam is our very best mother pig and has passed on these maternal traits to her offspring.
 The sire is a massive boned boar with exceptional muscling.(Both pictured on left) This boar is $500 or $450 if you buy two Large Black Piglets. |

Large Black X Tamworth Cross Boars - 1 Year |
Here is our 1 year old 50/50
Large Black X Tamworth breeding boar. He was selected as our herd's breed boar out of 40 male pigs farrowed last January.
He has been hand fed and is very friendly and easy to handle. He is hands down the
best looking  boar we own. He sucessfully bred our sows this fall with great enthusiasm and stamina. Now that his genes are well represented in our herd we are selling him.
