2026 Large Item Collection Dates


Large item collection happens the third full week of every month, April through September.

Step 1: Visit ashwaubenon.gov/largeitem


Residents can schedule and submit items starting on the first of the month. Please notify staff of your items by the Sunday before collection week at ashwaubenon.gov/largeitem.

Step 2: Enter Your Information


Enter your name, contact information, address, and a description of the items.

Step 3: Place Your Items on the Curb by 6 A.M. Monday


All items must be placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. Monday. Do not place items at the curb more than 72 hours before the start of collection. Crews will collect throughout the first part of the week and will not return for late set-outs. Items will only be picked up if a scheduled pickup is requested.

Q: Why do I have to schedule my large items?



A: When large items are scheduled in advance, collection routes can be mapped efficiently, allowing trucks to go directly to pickup locations instead of driving every street looking for items.

Q: Why aren't large items collected in the winter months?



A: Large items are not collected in winter because crews must spend several hours converting trucks and equipment back and forth between snow and large item operations, which keeps them from completing other essential tasks.

Q: What happens if I do not schedule a requested pickup and I put items out to the curb?



A: If items are not scheduled for pickup and placed out to the curb, Village crews will not pick them up. Residents have 72 hours from the start of collection to remove the items. Items left for more than 72 hours will incur a $75 fee for collection. Residents are able to schedule a pickup for the following month.
