I was inspired by a message I received from a colleague and thought now would be the time to share some of its sentiments with you.
With COVID-19 upon us, we’re dealing with unprecedented amounts of uncertainty. News is coming fast and every day brings a new twist, a new tragedy, or a new change to our lives that we never imagined possible.
In situations like this, it’s important to accept that much of what is happening is beyond our control.
The best thing we can do is stay calm, remind ourselves what we value, and carefully identify the best actions we can take to protect those values. Now, more than ever, we have the chance to be the types of people we want to be.
For us, keeping our team, loved ones, and each of you safe and healthy is top priority, while continuing to deliver a great experience in our business engagements and relationships with you.
So here many of us are, settling into our isolated work-from-home environments. Our restaurants and hotel properties are closed for public traffic, and our team is diligently working to figure out how to make this new reality work productively for each of us in each of our businesses and properties.
We’re not planning any layoffs - we’re completing daily virtual check-ins to make sure everyone is ok and maintaining our vigilance ensuring that we have a safe and healthy workspace for all. All contact information for assistance previously provided to you will remain available.
We’ll continue to look for ways to improve what we do, and find new ways to service our customers and colleagues, while continuing to meet our commitments to each and every one of you. Thank you for your support as we move through this unprecedented time.
Remember - Family First!
