Adobe released updates to all their Creative Cloud applications last week at Adobe Max. I have two detailed articles this week on the new features in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Audition CC. Along with Adobe, I also have articles and videos covering interesting stuff you need to know for Apple Final Cut Pro X.

Before we start talking about new training, though, I REALLY want to encourage you to listen to last week's Digital Production Buzz. We spent the entire show talking about how to successfully run a creative business. I found the interviews so compelling, I played them for my students - all of whom want to start their own company. We looked at how to deal with competition, where to find new customers, what to look for when building a team, pricing, and a wealth of great advice from people who've been in the industry for years. This is one of our best shows this year. I've been in this business a long time and I learned new things. Here's the link.

Webinars returned last week with a look at multicam editing in Final Cut Pro X. If you haven't tried multicam editing, this webinar is a great way to get started. What we discovered is that editing multicam clips is both fast and easy. But, getting your system ready for multicam editing requires thinking about media and storage in totally different ways from single camera editing. You'll find all the details in our store.

In this week's webinar, we'll look at key new features in Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and Media Encoder. Adobe updated all its Creative Cloud software at Adobe Max last week, so this week, we'll examine what was released. As always, our live events are FREE!  The session is on Thursday, here's the link to learn more and register.

On the Final Cut front, I was answering an email from a reader about Auditions in FCP X and realized I haven't written about them for more than five years. Hmm.... time to update that. As I was researching this article, I discovered that Auditions can also be used to compare effects, which is really cool. You'll find the article below in the Articles section.

That's it for this week. See you at Thursday's webinar and chat with you next Monday. In the meantime, edit well .
