Kee Safety Introduces New Kee Access® Ramps to Provide Compliant Building Access
(OCTOBER 2022) – Built to meet Canadian and international standards for accessibility, new Kee Access Ramps from Kee Safety, Ltd., Concord, Ontario, enable individuals in a wheelchair and others with mobility issues to traverse with optimal ease between the ground level and a building. The modular design simplifies the specification and installation of the ramp system as it provides secure access to a residence or place of business without making significant alterations to the existing structure, according to the company.

Comprised of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum components with a Glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) walkway, new Kee Access Ramps are more robust than wood and more flexible than concrete ramps, Kee Safety states. The walkway has an anti-slip mini mesh that provides good surface drainage and is suitable for all weather conditions. Kee Klamp® structural pipe fittings form the guardrail system and support the smooth, continuous, powder-coated handrails. Adjustable load-bearing feet, vertical bar infill panels, and edge guards around the walkway complete the system that is available in a wide range of styles, colours, and options to complement the property. Since the system is modular, new Kee Access Ramps are easy to modify and maintain.

Founded in the UK in 1934 and established in Canada in 1957, Kee Safety is a leading global supplier of fall protection and other safe access systems and equipment.
