Stay Informed: Medicare Enrollment Season

Stay alert and connect with the NJ Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) to learn how to safeguard against Medicare scams, waste and abuse. Join NJ SMP Project Director Charles Clarkson, who in partnership with the Parker Health Group, will be holding a Medicare seminar on Tuesday, November 29th at 3:00 pm (15 Dellwood Lane, Somerset, NJ) to help applicants understand their options during this enrollment period. See the flyer below for more details about this event.

SMP's latest video urges applicants and current Medicare recipients to be cautious during this open enrollment period. Open until December 7th, it is the perfect time for solicitors to try and pressure you into harmful deals while you make changes to your Medicare coverage. Don't be pressured by the calls and emails! Connect to trained Medicare counselors at the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) for options that will benefit you. Call JFS at 732-777-1940 to connect with SHIP and SMP counselors.
