The “Big Beautiful Bill” signed into law by President Trump is eliminating popular home tax credits for energy-efficient home upgrades several years before they were initially set to expire.
Heat pump air conditioners, water heaters, rooftop solar installation, geothermal heating installation and more are affected.
The good news?
Most of these don’t expire until the end of the year. Any projects started before Jan. 1 will still qualify.
