Has your pack started building yet? We want to see your creativity and craftsmanship in action. Send photos of your Pinewood Derby cars to Marketing and Communications Director Cicily Gardea so we can highlight your Scouts and share the excitement as race day approaches.

Through the Storm: Eagle Scouts at the 2026 Rose Parade
The 2026 Rose Parade was truly one for the memory books. As it was only the 10th time in the parade’s 136-year history to be met with rain, the weather didn’t dampen spirits—our Eagle Scouts took it all in stride, proudly representing Scouting through the storm.
Now it’s time to relive those unforgettable moments. We invite you to view the incredible photos captured during the parade.
A heartfelt thank you to photographers Eric Shen and Bailey Shen for braving the rain alongside our Eagle Scouts and beautifully documenting this historic and inspiring experience.

Mission Accomplished at AOL Adventures – Webelos Woods!
The newly rebranded Arrow of Light Adventures – Webelos Woods is officially in the books—and what a success it was. By welcoming Webelos into the adventure this year, we doubled the fun and the learning. Scouts tackled everything from Math on the Trail to Chef’s Knife Safety, while parents gained valuable insight into the exciting journey of bridging to a Troop.
Thank you to our Scouting community. Troops 713, 413, 658, 773, 718, and 948 brought the Adventure Stations to life. Your leadership, enthusiasm, and excellent use of the EDGE method set a strong example for our Cub Scouts.
And a special shout-out to the Order of the Arrow (OA) team for outstanding food service. You kept everyone fueled, energized, and ready for adventure.
An unforgettable weekend of skills, teamwork, and Scouting spirit at Webelos Woods!

Learning From the Experts: Law Enforcement in Action
Troop 373 recently welcomed a special guest from the District Attorney’s Office, Detective Huynh, who visited a troop meeting to share valuable insights on crime prevention, drugs, and DUI awareness, and the use of drone technology in law enforcement. One of the most anticipated highlights of the presentation is a live demonstration of public safety drones, giving Scouts a real-world look at how technology supports community safety.
Other units can take advantage of this opportunity as well. Detective Huynh is available to visit your unit to provide the same engaging presentation, provided there is an appropriate teaching space and a minimum of 10 participants.
Available dates are as soon as 2–3 weeks out, so don’t miss the chance to bring this unique and educational experience to your Scouts.
