This Sunday we will be celebrating the

Palm Sunday

Holy Week begins on Palm/Passion Sunday, April 13, as we remember Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The service will include choir, handbells and chimes. Palms will be distributed at the service.

“Bunny Baskets” with Elizabeth and Jenn! Elizabeth and Jenn welcome families to create easy and fun bunny baskets to celebrate the arrival of Holy Week. Elizabeth and Jenn will be at a table in the Fellowship Hall during coffee hour to facilitate how to design and craft the bunny baskets and…it involves CANDY!

Maundy Thursday, April 17, we will gather at 6:00 PM and share in a Potluck Dinner followed by a service of communion and group conversation in the Fellowship Hall. Look for the sign-up sheet at the Connections Desk in the fellowship hall or contact the church office as we need a rough headcount for set-up.

Good Friday, April 18, 6:30 PM, we will meet in the sanctuary for worship focusing on The Crucifixion and The Tomb. Without Good Friday, there would be no Easter. If there was no darkness, we could not appreciate the light. Come and consider what Jesus sacrificed for you and me. “This moment matters.”

The service will be live-streamed.

After Easter Service there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos to enjoy!

Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, April 26^th at 8:45 am in the Fellowship Hall: One of John Wesley’s very own legal experts, Mark Karsner, will give a presentation on the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Come learn about some of the surprising rights you have (and don’t have) under our First Amendment.

Changing our World for April is John Q. Coffee Break, Inc.

Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break, Inc. is an all-inclusive, nonprofit Veteran organization in Falmouth, Massachusetts located at the old Senior Center on Dillingham Ave. They represent all branches of the military and members of the community with a connection to service in the military. Conceived in 2016 and legally established as a nonprofit in May of 2020, Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break is working to improve quality of life for those that served and those who support them.

More than meeting for coffee, the JQVCB mission is to build an all-inclusive community where, in collaboration with local military support organizations and community partners, all Veterans and their families can find fellowship, targeted and effective services, and a wide variety of programs.
