Help Support Our 2018 Year-End Campaign!
Our goal is to raise funds to help strengthen our educational, media, and
advocacy programs. Your contribution will also help fund our internship program which enables college students and recent graduates to gain hands-on training while working on projects that promote shared parenting.
Would you be willing to make a special end of the year donation of $25, $50,
$100, or any contribution you can afford?

We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real and lasting impact in the lives of children and families.
It's Time for Family Reunion

There are many reasons why people separate or divorce. But, whatever the reasons are, one thing is for sure; family breakdown is devastating to all involved. Children flourish in warm, supportive, and stable environments where both parents are emotionally, physically and financially responsible for them.

How We Advocate
Family Reunion is dedicated to creating public awareness on the importance of shared parenting through our educational programs, videos, social networking, media campaigns, and advocacy programs.

We participate in local community events to share and disseminate information on shared parenting.

Family Reunion works with existing organizations, experts and individuals dedicated to making much-needed changes the destructive family court system so that children's best interests can be supported.

Family Reunion also reaches out to decision-makers at the State and Federal levels, as well as, civil rights organizations in order to educate them on the social pathologies that children face due to the current laws and policies that often encourage dishonest behavior by parents who use unjust leverage to gain full custody of children.

There must be change. The time is now. Please support Family Reunion!

Family Reunion is consistently in the media. We have written or have been quoted in news articles. Family Reunion was recently featured in a segment on Shared Parenting for a local NBC affiliate station. We are consistently disseminating press releases and distribute a weekly newsletter. We have been on local and national radio shows.
Internship Program
In 2014, Family Reunion implemented a successful internship program that offers many opportunities for energetic, talented and highly motivated undergrad and recent graduate students.

Family Reunion has partnered with California State University Bakersfield and Santa Barbara Business College to give their students the opportunity to earn college credits for their internship hours while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Intern Testimonial
"I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to intern with Family Reunion during the Fall 2018 internship program. I was the Intern Coordinator and responsible for managing the other interns to ensure that all of their projects were on task. I have learned invaluable hands-on training skills through this internship that will help me when I graduate and seek future employment."
-Brenda Reyes
"Interning for Family Reunion as an Intern Coordinator has taught me many useful skills. I also learned about the time and dedication required to effectively run a national non-profit organization that advocates for a specific cause. I have enjoyed and greatly benefited from this experience and the hands-on training I received."
