"SOLID GOLD" "BREAKING THE MOLD"

Two exhibits celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the BROOKLYN MUSEUM. On view are more than five hundred “golden” works of art, fashion, film, music, and design; you can see longtime favorites and recent acquisitions. The reinstallation of the museum's rich holdings of AMERICAN ART, as well as AFRICAN, EGYPTIAN, ASIAN, and EUROPEAN treasures, are all available to enjoy! Daffodils, magnolias, and cherry trees will be in bloom in the adjacent Brooklyn Botanic Garden this month!

On view at the WHITNEY MUSEUM is AMY SHERALD: AMERICAN SUBLIME, the artist's first major show in NEW YORK. See fifty works, including her portraits of Michelle Obama and Breonna Taylor.


WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART


We have tickets reserved for ANN FRANK THE EXHIBITION at the CENTER FOR JEWISH HISTORY, a fifteen-minute walk from the Meatpacking District and the WHITNEY. It is a 7500 square foot richly documented installation about Anne's early life and recreation of THE ANNEX, her family's hiding place in Amsterdam during the Holocaust.

Today is also an opportunity to view the acclaimed exhibit, BELLA DA COSTA GREENE, at the MORGAN LIBRARY before it closes on May 4. She was the personal librarian of American financier J. Pierpont Morgan.

COST: $125 includes round-trip transportation to New York City. We will drop off in Midtown near BROADWAY, MoMA, and the WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART. Pick-up is at the WHITNEY. Admissions to museums are additional.

From sketches to masterpieces, SARGENT & PARIS presents 100 early works by American painter, JOHN SINGER SARGENT, including the scandalous painting MADAME X, done in 1884.


You can still see CASPER DAVID FRIEDRICH: THE SOUL OF NATURE. The German Romantic artist’s landscapes provide a meditative and mysterious bond between nature and the inner self. The exhibit closes on May 11.

COST: $125 includes round-trip transportation to the METROPLOITAN MUSEUM OF ART. There will be an An additional drop off near the Theater District and the Museum of Modern Art.

NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN

Join us once again for an unforgettable visit to the NEW YORK BOTANICAL in the BRONX. Enjoy the color and beauty that inspired Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings through botanical displays and a breathtaking lawn of monumental sunflowers. In addition to this installation's splendor, azaleas, irises, and more will bloom throughtout the garden, and dozens of spectacular varieties of roses will bloom in June in the world-famous Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.


COST: $165 includes round-trip transportation to the New York Botanical Garden plus an All Garden Pass, which covers entrance to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory and hop-on hop-off tram tour throughout the garden grounds. We will stop at nearby ARTHUR AVENUE in the heart of BRONX's Little Italy.

SYLVIA at the AMERICAN BALLET THEATER

Join our annual Excursion to THE AMERICAN BALLET THEATER at LINCOLN CENTER.

We have Orchestra Premium seating for SYLVIA , a ballet set in mythical Greece. Acclaimed ballet dancer Reece Clark, from the Royal Ballet in London, will perform the role of the lovelorn shepherd AMINTA. Optional arrangements will be made for lunch nearby. Our bus will drop us off near LINCOLN CENTER and the METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART. The departure point will be near LINCOLN CENTER.


COST: $235 includes round-trip transportation to LINCOLN CENTER and Orchestra Premium seats to the ballet. BUS ONLY cost is $125. An additional drop-off will be made at the METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART upon arrival in New York City.
