The Lucy Project

With October marking #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth, this week we’re proud to highlight The Lucy Project and its efforts to support and advocate for children who struggle to read. Up to 66,800 students in Miami-Dade County likely have dyslexia, but fewer than a third have been diagnosed. That’s why The Lucy Project is committed to making literacy accessible to all children by offering free in-school programs and affordable out-of-school remediation with highly trained educators. With more than a decade of experience, The Lucy Project is developing replicable, scalable programs that model affordable, accessible literacy education and intervention. Every child they serve receives the same level of high-quality support regardless of financial circumstances. For more information about The Lucy Project, visit www.lucyproject.org/
