We are heading into what promises to be an outstanding winter, but we need everyone on board. If you have been waiting to renew, thinking about joining, or know someone who has been “meaning to get around to it,” this is the moment. The Early Bird deadline is Sunday, November 30, and once it passes, so do the savings.

A Caledonia membership is more than a pass — it strengthens everything we do together:

• high-quality grooming and snowmaking,
• programs for all ages,
• community events, races, festivals, and school visits,
• a welcoming atmosphere that makes Otway feel like a second home.

This year, we are also celebrating our members with major prize draws — including three 2026/27 Annual Memberships (and if we break 2,000 members again, we will bump that to five). Every member is entered automatically, and anyone who signs up because you encouraged them can list your name for an extra entry.

Here is where we need your help:

Tell your friends. Tell your neighbours. Tell your co-workers. Tell the person you say “hi” to in the grocery store but aren’t quite sure how you know them. The more people we bring into the Caledonia family, the stronger and more vibrant our community becomes.

Cash/Cheque Weekend

November 29 & 30: 10am-3pm

We know every dollar matters, and we want joining (or renewing with) the club to be as simple and as affordable as possible. If you prefer to pay by cash or cheque (even debit this weekend), we are once again offering easy, in-person payment options — and yes, it really does help reduce processing fees on our end.

We will be in the Rental Shop this weekend, Saturday & Sunday, 10am-3pm ready to help you purchase you membership for the season.

Snowmaking Update:

The Whales Have Arrived!

If you have been up at the club lately, you may have noticed a very encouraging sight — snow whales breaching across the stadium. For our grooming and snowmaking team, this is the sign we have been waiting for.

Our crew has been out at every possible opportunity this week, taking full advantage of every cold window. This weekend, they are making a major push to build coverage and shape the trails for the start of the season. Seeing those snow whales appear is exciting for all of us — it means progress, momentum, and the first real steps toward early-season skiing.

If conditions continue in our favour, our plan is to build a starter loop that members can enjoy as soon as it is safe and skiable. We know everyone is eager to get on snow, and we are doing everything we can to make that happen.

In the meantime, this is the perfect moment to get your membership — either online or by stopping by the club. Your support keeps snowmaking possible and helps us prepare the trails for the whole community.
