With a little over six weeks to go until the Annual Conference in Dublin we hope you’re all as excited about it as the Organising Committee and LES Britain & Ireland are. If you’ve not already registered for the conference we would encourage you to do so!
The conference has booked up at an unprecedented rate and so Gala Dinner spaces have now sold out but the good news is we still have lots of room at the conference and for the other social events including the farewell event at the fabulous Guinness Storehouse. So, there are still lots of good reasons to register and come to Dublin.
Also, Dublin is a popular city and we have secured some very favourable discounted rates with the conference hotels but some of the hotels are not able to hold the rates much beyond 15 February. So, if you’ve still to book your hotel we would recommend that you make your booking as soon as possible to receive the most choice and the best rates. We have a number of great hotels for you to choose from all within close walking distance of The Dublin Royal Convention Centre with the Radisson Blu Royal adjoining the Convention Centre and providing lots of additional useful networking space.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who provided proposals for workshops. With over 120 proposals and only 20 workshop spaces and 30 roundtables the Programme Committee were unfortunately only able to include a fraction of those proposals in the programme. We’re sorry to all of those we were unable to accommodate in the programme but we hope we’ve put together a broad programme that will appeal to the full LES membership. We also hope that many of the proposals we had to decline can be used for other purposes throughout the year. Many would make great webinars and we hope we can include some at the LES B&I annual conference later in 2026 and we expect other national societies would be happy to use some of the proposals at their own annual conferences.
Returning to Dublin, please keep an eye on the website for updates we hope you’ll find it an interesting and enjoyable conference.
We look forward to seeing you in Dublin!-
