FREE use of the track April 6

Stretch your legs, get your heart pumping and enjoy *FREE use of the elevated walking track all day Wednesday, April 6 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center.

April 6 is National Walking Day and is exactly as it sounds – a day to celebrate the easiest way to be the healthiest version of you. In addition to *FREE use of the track, Plainfield Park District residents who sign up for an annual membership on April 6 receive one month FREE!

Ottawa Street Pool Early Bird Special

Save $10 by purchasing your Ottawa Street Pool season pass before May 27! Cost is $40/$50 for residents/non-residents April 1 through May 27.

Summer Camp Registration is Open!

Registration for summer camps is now open! Plainfield Park District summer camps are recreational in nature and revolve around providing opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, and build confidence. Before and after camp options are also available.

Spring Fishing Derby

Bring your bait, bucket and fishing pole to Van Horn Woods Pond and test your angling skills at the Annual Spring Fishing Derby! Awards are given for the longest fish in each age division (3-5, 6-8, 9-13). Participants are entered into a raffle when they sign in. Winners must be present. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Event takes place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately.
