Ready for some holiday cheer? Here are some upcoming events
on the calendar in the Old 96 District!

  • Decmber 1st-3rd - 2022 is the 21st anniversary Connie Maxwell Christmas in Greenwood, SC! Between 6:30 and 8:30pm each night, experience the beautiful lights on a horse-drawn wagon ride through the heart of campus. Gather with your family and friends by one of our bonfires, and enjoy a complimentary cup of fresh, hot chocolate, and watch a live nativity scene.
  • December 2nd-3rd - Cook's December Shopping Market in Trenton, SC is the perfect place to shop produce, gift baskets, arts and crafts, woodworking, handcrafted items, antiques, Christmas decor, local honey, and do all of your Christmas shopping in one place! Check their Facebook page for more information on all the vendors who will be participating.
  • December 3rd - Laurens, SC is hosting their 2022 parade at 5pm, with the theme of 'A Retro Christmas' for the parade and the downtown store windows!
  • December 9th-10th - Visit McCormick, SC to enjoy the Festival of Trees and Holiday Market. Bring the entire family to take a tour of the historical grist mill which has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Do not forget to get a start on your holiday shopping while at the Dorn Mill Complex. The Holiday Market located in the Cotton Gin will have local and regional artisans with items including jellies, jewelry, quilts, baked goods and so much more available for purchase.
  •  December 10th - Abbeville, SC is celebrating 'Christmas in Abbeville' all month long, but come out on the 10th and you'll get to take part in breakfast with Santa, the 13th annual Reindeer Run, the Abbeville Christmas parade, shopping markets, and more.
