Do you need to be more proficient in HEC-RAS? Let us help you!

Water resource projects are becoming increasingly complex, requiring sophisticated modeling skills that many professionals haven't had the opportunity to develop.

Our hands-on HEC-RAS: The Essential Modeler's Guide online course, bridges that gap.

Through expert instruction and practical experience with real-world problems, you'll gain a working knowledge and understanding of HEC-RAS—one of the industry's most powerful river analysis systems—which you can immediately apply to your projects.

What You'll Learn in Just Three Days 📚

  • Building accurate hydraulic models using HEC-RAS fundamentals
  • Improving proficiency in flood analysis techniques
  • Employing different modeling methods for bridges, culverts, dams, and levees
  • Using GIS data to enhance modeling within RAS Mapper
  • Choosing between 1D and 2D models for different scenarios
  • Applying appropriate flow regimes for your specific projects
  • And much more!

Who Should Attend?

This hands-on course is designed for engineers, landscape architects, and environmental professionals who:

  • want to improve their proficiency in HEC-RAS modeling software to produce better hydraulic studies of riverine systems;
  • prefer interactive, hands-on activities to build real-world skills;
  • appreciate the convenience and accessibility of online learning; and
  • value expert-led instruction and opportunities for real-time interaction.
