Hurricane Season Through November 30 Predicted ‘Above Normal’
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has forecasted increased storm activity in the Atlantic during hurricane season due to record-warm sea surface temperatures. The upgrade from normal to above normal was announced in August, and NOAA anticipates 14-21 named storms. Six to 11 of these storms could become hurricanes with winds of 74 mph or greater. Update on Americas Region Executive Director
BKR is currently looking at a replacement for AJ. At the moment, Belinda Rivera, assisted by the rest of the Executive Office team, will ensure that the offerings to members have not been affected. We are now at the stage where CEO Tim Morris (London) and Americas Chair John Beauston (Charleston) have been actively looking for a replacement. The plan is to have a new Regional Director in place by the end of the year.

2023 Leadership Institute Participants Complete Session 3 in Dallas
BKR's 2023 Leadership Institute cohort completed Session 3 in Dallas on September 20. Special thanks to CEO Tim Morris (London), who provided an informative overview about BKR International, and Presenter Jeremy Wortman (HRD Initiatives). The group will complete their final session in November in New York City.
