Make The Physician Decision
Last week, the FAFP announced the release of ThePhysicianDecision.com, a patient empowerment campaign designed to help educate on the importance of seeking a physician-led care team. Although the Florida Legislature approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to practice primary care independently in 2020, the FAFP has partnered with the Florida Medical Association to encourage patients to research and understand the differences in education and training between a physician (MD/DO) and advanced practice providers (APPs). Encourage patients to learn more and make the right decision - ThePhysicianDecision!
