Conservation

Volunteer for the Perkiomen Plant-A-Thon

Watershed-Wide

September through November

This is your chance to get down and dirty for conservation!

Our goal is to plant 15,000 native trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants in restoration projects throughout the watershed and WE NEED YOU! So grab a friend, round up your posse, load up the kids and head to a planting near you.

It's more than digging a few holes...

it's protecting the place we call home.

Membership + Plant-A-Thon

A Winning Combo!!

This fall, anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a FREE Plant-A-Thon TEE and a one-year membership to the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy.

Support the Plant-A-Thon and help us prove that when a community digs in, 10,000 plants are only the beginning.

Rain Garden Planting

Jacob Reiff Park

November 6 + 13 + 14 + 20

These are the last planting days of the year!! Help us plant native perennials at Jacob Reiff Park. This planting is part of a large-scale stream bank restoration project along the West Branch of the Skippack Creek. The project will prevent flooding, provide vital wildlife habitat and improve water quality.

No experience needed... just dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty!

Every Wednesday | 1:00 pm

Join us for our weekly volunteer sessions! This is an awesome way to get your hands in the dirt and meet some pretty great people. Each week, we tackle a different conservation task... this is your chance to get outside and make it happen!
